Sliding Fee Scale

ACPC has a sliding fee scale to assist families with the cost of childcare. Fees may be reduced up to $210 per month. Parents qualify by income and Iowa State University student status. Funds for the fee scale are awarded by ASSET on a yearly basis.

ASSET (Analysis of Social Services Evaluation Team) ASSET is the acronym for a funding body which is composed of five local funders in Story County which are:

City of Ames
Story County Board of Supervisors
Department of Human Services (DHS)
United Way of Story County
Government of the Student Body at ISU (GSB)

All families must provide income verification and complete CCFP Food Forms to qualify for discounts.

Tuition subsidy limited to available ASSET funds.

ISU Student Discounts Available--Inquire at ACPC office

ACPC will give 10% discount on the oldest child if two children in a family are enrolled with the younger child full-time.

A paid deposit of $50/$ 75 per family is due prior to the start of care.

The deposit will be held in a non-interest bearing account.

When 30 days notice of withdrawal of a child from ACPC is given, the deposit will be credited to the last month's fees.
